Approve Affiliation with School or Clinical Site

An affiliation is the connection between a member and an entity, such as a school or clinical site. This guide walks you through the process of reviewing and approving an affiliation request so you can become Active with an entity and begin completing your requirements.

Step 1: Receive Notification and Log In

When an entity sends you an affiliation request, you’ll receive an email from ACEMAPP with the subject line: "ACEMAPP - You Have an Affiliation Request."

First, log in to your ACEMAPP account. Then, click "Collaboration."

Step 2: Review Pending Requests

Within the Affiliations table, review your pending affiliation requests, including the entity (school or clinical site) name, the program, and the graduation date. Then, click "Approve" or "Deny."

NOTE: If the graduation date is inaccurate, please contact your entity's coordinator for assistance.

Step 3: Confirm your selection

Click "OK" to confirm your selection, or click "Cancel" to go back.

Step 4: Navigate to your home page

Once your affiliation is approved, click your name in the upper right corner, then under "Navigation," click the appropriate member type (student, clinical faculty, etc.) to navigate to your home page. You can always access your affiliations table by clicking your name, then clicking "Affiliations" in the dropdown.
